General information:
The Hatun Karpay ( in Quechua
“the Great Initiation") in Italy was born from the idea of offering
the complete jorney of initiation in the Andean spiritual tradition using
the concept of "Ranty", which can be translated by the Quechua
"equivalent."
In the Andes this adjective is used for defining the " energetic
quality" of a factor of the reality, independently from its characteristics
of kind of affiliation. It is applied in the case of "living"
beings and in the case of sites of power. After a search of many years
and obviously stimulated, supported, and comforted by the experience of
Juan Nunez del Prado, the staff of Tawantin Association has succeeded
in reconstructing a coherent system of use of ancient Etruscan sites of
power, that we can use for developing the Italian hatun karpay, maintaining
the same structure of the Andean journey. At the same time it is a great
recovery of the roots of the western civilization, this recovery has its
natural conclusion, as it regards the" Great Civilizations",
in the work with the city of Rome. For this reason we inserted the Roman
Llakta Karpay (jorney of initiation in a limited geographical zone = city),
which begins from the connection with the foundation of the city and that
it ends at the Basilica of St. Peter.
Daily program:
1st Day
• Arrival at Rome in the morning and transfer by car to Pitigliano, accomodations
in the rooms, rest, supper and introductory reunion;
2nd day
• Sanctuary of Madonna del Cerreto. The Church has been built in the site
of the first apparition of the Virgin in the modern times (before Fatima
and Lourdes). We will perform a practice of connection with the female
principle (the Madonna) and the masculine one (Jesus Christ). Outside
of the church there is a source of sacred water where we will work leaving
the heavy energy.
• Fonte della Nova. Ritual of the 4 directions, despacho (Andean ritual
of offer) and exchange of personal power (Karpay Ayni). It’s the widest
installation of the age of bronze in Italy (XII century before Christ).
It’s on the the intersection of two deep volcanic canyons which preserve
the uncontaminated naturalistic habitat. On the top of the tall cliff
there are medieval rests of a church where we’ll perform the ritual of
the four directions with the principal mountains of the Maremma (Apus),
the ritual of the despacho and, above a great stairway altar carved in
the tufo (the "Holy Stair"), the Karpay Ayni (exchange of personal
power). The monument of pre-etruscan age (X century before Christ) is
in the style of the most archaic rocky altars.
3rd day
• Sovana - Necropolis of the Calesine. Sovana was the principal religious
center of this part of the Etruscan land. In a deep volcanic canyon, inside
a monumental tomb, the " Pisa Tumb", we’ll practise the recapitulation
of our own life in connection with the energy of Mother Earth.
• Lake of Bolsena. After the lake Titikaka, Bolsena is the greatest volcanic
lake of the world. Sacred and geographical "Navel" of the twelve
Etruscan city-state, the lake and its waters were revered in the name
of the goddess Voltumna, the great etruscan Goddess Mother, patron of
the fertilizing waters. Facing the lake the promontory of Bisenzio leans
out with his holm oaks, here are preserved some Etruscan sacred places.
On the shores of the lake we’ll perform the ritual of invocation to Waskar
Inka and Tages with the following offer of the kuyas (sacred objects of
power).
4th day
• Pitigliano, was the greatest etruscan center in the river Fiora valley.
Near an ancient source, the Source of the Elm (or of the Sileno) the ritual
of connection will be practised with the nymph (nusta) of the water. Then
we’ll perform the practice of differentiation and following union of the
masculine and female principles (Masintin-Yanantin). Then we’ll go down
in the path and we’ll enter in a tunnel cut in the rock, (practice of
the dark and the rebirth).
• Poggio Rotondo (Sorano). The rocky hill was anciently a place of observation
of the sky where there are traces of a primordial cult of the natural
elements. Practice of the sun and the wind.
5th day
Park of the Monsters (Bomarzo). In the country, few kilometers from the
city of Viterbo, we’ll go to the Park of the Monsters of Bomarzo also
called "The Sacred Wood." On the botton of an ample volcanic
and wooded valley there is a park with unusual megalitic sculptures which
have been realized in the Renaissance from a school connected with the
esoteric tradition of the Hermetism. Monuments with symbolic and mythological
subject - the giants, the earth's goddess, the dragon, the sirens etc.-
they are settled to composing an iniziatic itinerary. It’s the only park
of this type existing in the world.
6th day
• Sovana, Etruscan necropolis of Monte Rosello. In the canyon under the
village there is a great sepulchre, the " Colombaio" where we’ll
perform the ritual of the practice of the death.
• St. Colombano: church graven in the rock close to a sacred place of
etruscan age. At the interior there are frescos and architectural motives
of templar inspiration (XII century AD). Ritual connection with the masculine
and female principle.
7th day
• St. Galgano: it is found few kilometers from Siena. In the hermitage
of san Galgano there is a sword in the rock of the XII century. The interior
of the abbey has a very similar style of the abbey of Glastonbury in England.
We will perform a ritual of group with the sword in the rock and the ritual
procession of the" real couples" (panakas). At the end we’ll
build a column of collective energy (Saiwa). In evening we’ll come back
to Rome.
8th day
Transfer to the airport and reentry to the countries of origin
Organizational details and costs:
- Some excursions will be
done in places which are not easily accessible.
- Bring swimsuit or swimming trunks and towel!!!
- We suggest you bring rain gear and shoes suitable for excursions in
paths and woods.
- The program can be subject to changes in situations beyond our control.
o The price of the Hatun
Karpay in Italy is € 950 and includes:
- All the nights with breakfast from the day of arrival to the day of
departure;
- 3 *** hotel in Pitigliano (the only hotel in this zone)
- Six suppers, water and wine included
- Bus with driver for the days in Tuscany;
- Entrances to the sites as described in the program
- Seminar with Juan Nuñez del Prado
- Organization by the staff of Tawantin Italia (Giovanni de Feo and Roberto
Sarti)
- Supplement for single room for the whole trip, if available € 150
- Sandwiches for lunch can
be purchased at the hotel bar and brought along. Not included in the price.
- You organize your own flight to and from Rome, not included in the price.
- Transportation from Rome by car with Roman participants, cost depends
on the number of people travelling, not included in the price.
